Beats Per Minute is a new compilations series based on exploring the relationship between time and emotion. A simple concept: Every song shares the same underlying tempo leaving each artist the ability to decorate the sonic landscape the way they see fit. This simple yet effective creative limitation allows the listener to more easily compare the sonic character of the artists against each other. In this compilation you'll hear a variety of moods, textures and vibes like the soft warm pads of Late July or the infectious grooves of Parris Taylor.
